Privacy Policy
Better Video Publishing ("we", "us", "our") is an independent video studio. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website (bettervideopublishing.com) and the accounts we use to publish our videos.
Information we collect
When you visit this website. This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no sign-up or forms. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability; these are kept for no longer than 30 days.
When you contact us. If you email support@bettervideopublishing.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to reply to you and keep it only as long as needed to handle your message.
Accounts we operate on third-party platforms. To publish our own videos, we connect our studio's accounts on video and social platforms. When we do, those platforms give us access to information about our own accounts — such as channel details, the videos we have uploaded, and audience statistics for those videos. We do not collect information about individual viewers, and we do not sign in on behalf of anyone else.
How we use information
We use the information above only to:
- publish, update and manage our own videos on the platforms we use;
- understand how our videos perform, so we can make better ones;
- keep this website secure and working;
- respond to messages sent to us.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Third-party platforms
We publish on several third-party platforms. Each one is operated by its own company and has its own terms and privacy policy, which apply when you watch our videos there. Our use of each platform's data is limited to the purposes listed above.
Google / YouTube API Services
Some of our videos are published on YouTube. To do this, we use YouTube API Services. When we connect one of our studio's YouTube channels, we ask Google for the following permissions on that channel only:

Storage and protection. Access tokens issued by Google are encrypted at rest and stored on secured, access-controlled infrastructure. Channel and video statistics are stored only in aggregate form, as provided by YouTube.
Retention and deletion. We keep this data only while the channel stays connected and for as long as we need it for the purposes above. When a channel is disconnected, its access tokens are deleted immediately. Performance statistics already collected for our own videos are kept as part of our records unless deletion is requested. To ask us to delete data, email support@bettervideopublishing.com and we will do so within 30 days.
Revoking access. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Better Video Publishing's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we protect information
We use encryption in transit and at rest, restrict access to the people and systems that need it, and keep our systems up to date. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect the information we handle.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing support@bettervideopublishing.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above.
